QUARTZ

Stunning Quartz Materials

Quartz is the second-most abundant and third-hardest natural material on Earth. Genesee Cut Stone & Marble Co. now stocks and fabricates VICOSTONE quartz surfaces. VICOSTONE's compound stones are produced from 93% natural quartz aggregates which are adhered with a polymer resin with color powder and have hardness and flexural strength, which is much higher than other engineered stones. With a special and luxurious beauty, VICOSTONE compound stones are widely used in interior applications such as kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, wall paneling, and flooring, just to name a few.

VICOSTONE Quartz surfaces are NSF certified for food safety (ANSI 051). They are also certified as being free of volatile organic compounds, contributing to LEED Status.

With three production lines of compound stones utilizing technology transferred from Breton S.P.A. (Italy) and using the most advanced techniques with the latest technology, VICOSTONE can provide multi million square meters per year and is one of the leading engineered stone manufacturers in the world.

*Quartz surfaces may not withstand the direct transfer of heat from pots and pans and other cooking units such as electric frying pans and griddles, and some crock-pots or roaster ovens and heat lamps. Therefore, the use of a hot pad or trivets is always recommended.
